I met Mr. Carrothers after receiving a recommendation. I found Andrew to be a wise, relatable, and easy-going person, who kept the conversation on track with logical and relevant information that was specific to the issue at hand. This goes a long way to keeping my mind calm and reassured about what we were dealing with and what needed to be done. I experienced no anxiety or worry whatsoever in my conversations with Andrew. Andrew was also able to take into account that I am profoundly deaf and that I rely a lot on lip-reading. He faced me when speaking and ensured that I understood everything as we were having a conversation, so I wouldn't be lost at any point. It was clear from the outset after looking at the MRI scan that a procedure had to be done to sort out the issue with the meniscus. The operation went very well, and my rehabilitation has so far exceeded my expectations, allowing me to rediscover and remember the feeling of long-lost freedom that a healthy knee provides. My rehab continues today and I experience a deep sense of optimism for the future. I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Carrothers for both consultations and procedures to have my best interest at heart, including restoring my knee’s ability to function again!

Notwithstanding my complex medical history and the need for close cooperation from Drs at Addenbrooke's Hospital, the best that I can say about Mr Andrew Carrothers and his team including Dr Razeen Mahroof, is that they were so good that within 5 months I was back for a second Total Knee Replacement operation. Today, after my 6 week review, I am delighted to once again promote and thank them for the excellent care and guidance.

I am fully mobile again 7 weeks after MAKO total hip replacement. No pain, just working on getting some strength back into the muscles. A good experience from start to finish. I am very pleased I took the plunge and had the operation rather than putting it off - and can totally recommend the team of Mr Carrothers and Dr Mahroof.

Mr Carrothers was an excellent orthopaedic surgeon. I had a total knee replacement last year and the treatment I received and was excellent. I am now back playing tennis and badminton which I never expected to be doing. I would fully recommend Mr. Carrothers to anyone who has knee problems.
